Ms. Ali has served as the Company’s General Manager since August 2024 and is its first female Director. “These appointments reflect GLCL’s continued commitment to operational excellence, strong corporate governance, and innovation across its business. The Board will play an important role in keeping the Company’s long-term strategy aligned with Guyana’s national development priorities while supporting sustainable growth and value creation,” the company said.
Further, the lottery company said that the appointments come at a pivotal time as the company advances initiatives to strengthen its market position, increase customer engagement, and expand its contribution to Guyana’s economic and social development.

With this new and experienced leadership team, GLCL is well-positioned to further advance its strategic priorities, drive innovation in the sector, and continue delivering reliable, high-quality services to stakeholders and the Guyanese public,” the press release said.
