(Kaieteur News) – Three men pleaded guilty to driving under the influence on Friday when they appeared separately at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court.
The trio, taxi driver Ganesh Nohar, 47, of Golden Fleece, Essequibo Coast, Region Two, Bhoopaul Roy also of Golden Fleece and 67-year-old Peter Dyal, a shopkeeper, of 236 Hampton Court, Essequibo Coast appeared before Magistrate Ravindra Mohabir.
The men were ordered to pay a fine of $20,000 each. Failure to pay would result in them being sentenced to six months in jail.
