(Kaieteur News) – It is often said that education is empowerment but this statement is especially true for women and girls, in Guyana and around the world.
At Camille’s Academy, the directors take this mandate seriously ensuring that hundreds of girls achieve their full academic goal preparing and sharpening them to take up crucial space in society.
As an institution dedicated to education and empowerment, Academic Director of the Academy, Dr. Camille Deokie-Gorakh and her team share the core belief that when girls are given the opportunity to learn, lead, and dream boldly, they grow into women who shape communities, inspire change, and transform the future.
To this end, she said the school remains committed to ensure its learners are exposed to activities which foster in advanced technological and holistic development even in their everyday academic pursuit.
She noted that Camille’s Academy remains committed to nurturing confident, compassionate, and empowered young women who will rise to lead with knowledge, integrity, and purpose.
She asserted “We are empowering girls today, to lead the world tomorrow!”
“Today, on International Women’s Day, Camille’s Academy proudly celebrates the strength, resilience, and achievements of women and girls around the world. To the mothers, educators, leaders, and young girls within our school community — your courage, dedication, and determination continue to inspire us every day.”
“Happy International Women’s Day!”
