Guyana, Grenada set for game two tonight at Sports Hall
Kaieteur Sports – Guyana and Grenada will meet tonight at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall in the first of their two-game regional basketball series from 8:00 pm, after last evening’s game was forced to cancel.
The opening night was cancelled due to situations beyond the Guyana Basketball Federation’s control, the local governing body for the sport said.
The two sides are scheduled to play back-to-back matches as part of their build-up to the FIBA Men’s Caribbean Championship, which is slated for July.
Both sides are using the series to fine-tune their squads, test combinations, and build chemistry ahead of the regional tournament, with tonight’s matchup expected to provide another competitive contest between the Caribbean rivals.
