Kildonan Young Warriors YSC Floodlight Football Competition set for Sunday

Kaieteur Sports – The Kildonan Community Centre at Kildonan, Corentyne, Berbice, will come alive on Sunday, the occasion is one day and will feature football activities and a fund day.

The activity is being organised by the Kildonan Youth and Sports Club.

There will be U14, U20 and Senior Football competitions along with a female element.

Teams expected from throughout Berbice include Paradise, Cougars, Eversham, Liverpool, Ithica, Monedderlust (No5), Fyrish, Rose Hall Town, Canje and the host Kildonan Young Warriors, among others.

Prizes will be awarded to the top teams in each category. Matches will be 11-a-side and will last for one hour.

Start time is 11:00 hrs with the finals to be played under floodlights.There will be a well-stocked food and drinks bar, along with Barbecue on sale.

The activity is being used as a fund-raising venture for the club.
