Kaieteur Sports – West Indies will commence their campaign in the 2026 ICC Men’s Under-19 World Cup, with an important opening round encounter versus Tanzania, with action bowling off from January 15.

Guyanese Johnathan Van Lange and Shamar Apple will be preparing to show their skills on the world stage in a few days time.
Teams assembled recently as they prepare for 50-Over action across host nations Zimbabwe and Namibia, with the Joshua Dorne-led Windies side seeking to win their first encounter against one of the home-team countries.
Prior to the departure, both skipper Dorne and his deputy, Guyanese Johnathan Van Lange said the team was brimming with confidence heading into the Cup.
