(Kaieteur News) – Three men were remanded to prison on Wednesday in connection with the murder of 39-year-old Levi Williams, whose decomposed body was found in a barrel at Le Repentir Cemetery on Christmas Day.
Police had responded to a 911 report, leading to the discovery of the body. Williams, a vagrant, was later identified as the victim.
The accused, Randy Mars, known as ‘Ratty,’ 42, of Kuru Kuru, Soesdyke-Linden Highway; Aaron Khan, known as ‘Tattoo,’ 29, of Lot 182 Charlotte Street, Georgetown; and Jamal David, known as ‘Hundred,’ 44, appeared before Chief Magistrate (ag) Faith McGusty on Thursday.
They faced the charge of murdering Williams on December 23, 2025, at Charlotte Street, Georgetown. The men, who were unrepresented, were not required to enter a plea and were remanded to prison.
They are scheduled to return to court on February 4, 2026, for further proceedings.
