Epic Clash 2025 Showcases Guyana’s Martial Arts Excellence
Kaieteur Sports – The Guyana Mixed Martial Arts Karate Association (GMMAKA) successfully hosted the Epic Clash Martial Arts Championship 2025 on Sunday, October 26, at the Guyana National Gymnasium. The event brought together some of Guyana’s most talented martial artists, displaying exceptional skill, discipline and sportsmanship.
There was an encouraging turnout of participants in the recently hosted Martial Arts Championships.
Participating academies included the United Warriors Martial Arts Academy, Red Dragon Martial Arts Academy, Vreed-En-Hoop Martial Arts Academy, La Parfaite Harmony Martial Arts Academy, Iron Fist Martial Arts Academy, Black Dragon Martial Arts Academy and Eternal Dragon Martial Arts Academy.
The championship concluded with outstanding performances from the top competitors. Mr. Naryan Sawh secured the title of Junior Grand Championship Winner in Kata, while Mr. Chaitram Ramotar was named Senior Grand Championship Winner in Kata—both demonstrating precision, focus and mastery of technique.
Master Lloyd Ramnarine, President and Founder of the GMMAKA, extended heartfelt congratulations to all participants and winners. He commended their commitment, discipline, and perseverance, noting that their performances embody the true spirit of martial arts—respect, honor and continuous self-improvement.
Master Ramnarine also expressed sincere appreciation to Guyana Breweries Inc. for their unwavering support over the years. He highlighted that their partnership has significantly elevated the Epic Clash Championships, providing invaluable opportunities for young martial artists and positively shaping lives through discipline and sport.
Looking ahead, the Guyana Mixed Martial Arts Karate Association proudly announced its upcoming International Championship, scheduled for March 26, 2026, right here in Guyana.
