Kaieteur News – The government through the Regional Democratic Council (RDC) of Region Five plans to spend $42 million to construct a health centre at Now or Never, Mahaicony.
At the recent opening of bids for the project at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board office, it was revealed that 13 contractors submitted bids.
The government has been constructing health centres across the country with the aim of decentralizing and expanding the range of public healthcare services provided to citizens and enhancing accessibility.
