2025 CWI Rising Stars Regional Men’s U17 2-Day championships…Guyana vs Trinidad and Tobago Day 1
Kaieteur Sports – Guyana will be tasked with work today after giving up a small lead to the Trinidadians as their second round 2-Day match got underway yesterday at the Queen’s Park Oval.
Middle-order batsman Adrian Hetmyer (45) held the innings together for Guyana, while Richard Ramdehol (15) and Lomar Seecharran (14) were the only two to get somewhat going as Guyana folded for 109.
The Trinidadians had good first innings bowling returns, with Daniel Holder (4-15), Renaldo Fournillier (2-31) and Daron Dhanraj (2-8) picking apart the Guyanese batting order.
Trinidad at stumps were 141-6 after contributions from captain Saleem Khan (35), Adan Ramsaran (30), Roberto Badree (23) and Christian Ramanan (18).
Dave Mohabir (2-25) and Parmeshwar Ram (2-28), were effective for the Guyanese, who will enter today’s final day trailing by 32 runs.
Other second round scores: Barbados first innings (211-7), Jamaica first innings (68 all out).
Leeward Islands first innings 238 all out, Windward Islands first innings 74-9.
