Berbice Names U13 Squad for 2026 GCB under 13 Inter-County Tournament
Kaieteur Sports – The Berbice Cricket Board Under-13 squad has been selected for the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Under-13 Inter-County Tournament 2026.
The 15-member squad will be led by Deonarine Chattergoon who has been named captain.
Chattergoon is the son of former West Indies cricketer Sewnarine Chattergoon, adding another chapter to the Chattergoon family’s cricketing legacy.
Serving as vice captain will be Summit Samaroo.
Deonarine Chattergoon
The selected squad comprises Deonarine Chattergoon (Captain), Adriel Chichester, Aiden Moore, Assad Hussain, Jayden Garner, Nitan Manna, Justin Southwell, Alden Hope, Tyrone Dorway, Summit Samaroo (Vice-Captain), Aryan Ali, Omar Ragubar, Thavin Roopnarine, Lamar Lafleur and Claymiel Amsterdam.
The squad will be under the watchful eyes of former national player Anthony Bramble as Coach and Neil Rudder serving as team Manager.
Tyrone Dorway
The Under-13 Inter-County tourney will bowl off today, Saturday, August 22, 2026, and conclude on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. All matches are scheduled to begin at 10:00 hours.
The squad has commenced preparations ahead of the tournament under the guidance of Bramble and Rudolph.
The Guyana Cricket Board congratulates the selected players, coaching staff and management and wishes the Berbice Under-13 team every success in the upcoming tournament.
