Kaieteur News- The prime suspect in a double murder at Tuseneng Village, North Pakaraimas, was found dead on Thursday at Kato Village, Region Seven. Reports are that he took his own life.
Kendell Joseph, 26, of Tuseneng Village was found dead around 08:50 hrs.
His mother, Diana Peters told police that she and her family had left their home around 07:00 hrs for breakfast. When they returned, his sister found him dead at the back of their home.
They reported the discovery to the Kato Police Station and his body was removed by crime scene ranks. The remains were taken to Kato Cottage Hospital where it was further examined by a medic.
Police had issued a wanted bulletin for Joseph in connection with a double murder at Tuseneng Creek on July 11, 2025.
Two men identified as Clifton Thomas, 34 and Sylvester Thomas, 20 both of Micopara Settlement, Tuseneng Village, were reportedly stabbed to death during a drinking spree.
Joseph and the men were reportedly imbibing alcohol together when an argument ensued between them. It led to an altercation and it is alleged that Joseph stabbed them before fleeing.
They succumbed to their injuries.
