Guyana Defence Force Base Camps to see major rehabilitation
Kaieteur News – The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) will be rehabilitating the officers’ barracks at several of their base camps, information from the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) office has shown.
According to the NPTAB, GDF will rehabilitate the captains’ accommodation at the Colonel John Clarke Military School (CJCMA) located at Tacama, Region 10. This project is estimated to cost $10.7 million.
The Julianna Barracks at Base Camp Stephenson will also undergo rehabilitation at an estimated cost of $14 million. Rehabilitation will also be done on the Barima Barracks at Base Camp Stephenson, Timehri, as well as the SNCO accommodation at CJCMS for an estimated cost $13.6 million.
