Kaieteur News- An aspiring lawyer recalled that he was a bit nervous on exam-day but confident that his hard work and dedication will place him in the most prestigious school in the country, Queens College.
Vaarun Dev Gangaram a student of the Mae’s Under 12 Primary, secured a total of 485.03 marks at the recently concluded National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) exams.
Speaking with Kaieteur News, Gangaran said, “At first I was kind of nervous but in the end I was confident about what I did”. He added that in preparing for the exams he studied hard and listened to advice about the work required to secure a spot at Queens College.
The elder Vaarun Gangaram, his father said that he was very exited when receiving the results because he knew that his son would have done well.
The father recounted that he (Vaarun) was dedicated to the extra lessons and recalled that his mother spent all the extra time she had in ensuring that Vaarun understood his school work.
Vaarun told Kaieteur News that earning a spot at Queens College is just one step in his journey towards becoming a world class lawyer.
