I believe I owe the public an explanation
Dear Editor,
Kaieteur News – When my husband, Kit Nascimento, was asked to identify one of the accused, I saw he could not see where she was sitting at the back of the court, and the lawyer was indicating a different direction for him to look.
I, therefore, made a subtle gesture with my thumb in her direction, not knowing that I was violating the rules of the court, for which I now apologise.
My husband told me after that he never even saw me do this.
