2025 CWI Breakout T20 League…
Kaieteur Sports– Jamaica Titans pulled off a close 3-run win over the Guyana Rainforest Rangers thanks to a solid half-century from Kirk Mckenzie, backed up by good bowling yesterday at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.
Left-arm pacer Jediah Blades snared 3-25 with help from fellow speedster Nial Smith (2-29) while spinners Kevin Sinclair and Ashmead Nedd chipped in with a wicket each, which kept Jamaica to 166 all out after 20 overs.
Mckenzie led the batting charge with a robust 51 from 31 including five fours and a pair of sixes, while Jordan Johnson (30) and Andrew Rambarran (36) played crucial innings for the Titans.
Seeking a turnaround after a few L’s, the Rainforest Rangers then slumped to 163-8 as they failed to get over the line.
Opener Rivaldo Clarke scored a brisk 24, while Kevlon Anderson (21), skipper Kemol Savory (25) and all-rounder Zeynul Ramsammy (44*), tried to get their team across the line.
The Titans pacer Zion Brathwaite (2-24) and Anthony Dackers (2-23), did the jobs well to hand Guyana third straight loss.
Guyana will play Leeward Islands in the next round.

(Kaieteur News) – There is no question that Guyanese would have noticed the brooch worn by Delcy Rodríguez during her recent visits to Grenada and Barbados. Hard Truths by GHK Lall (Kaieteur News) – For those with Biblical contexts, it said: “no man can serve two masters at the same time.” Sage advice due to its practicality. Divided loyalty is one.
