Dear Editor,
Much has been said disparagingly about the work of our local contractors and their poor workmanship displayed in the construction of our roads. The development of the USA and China did not occur overnight, and their skills in construction also took time and practice. Our local teams can gain experience quickly by using the techniques developed by both the Chinese and the Americans. By combining their best practices, we can quickly improve the quality of our road-building work. However, it should be noted that in my travels around the world, the Japanese have shown even greater quality and precision in their road work. By giving each of these three countries an opportunity to participate in our major road projects with the support of our local teams, government engineers and inspectors, we will have an opportunity to learn from the best and quickly gain experience in the most advanced road building techniques in the world today. CRG recommends that we consider using this approach in the construction of the road to Brazil.
Best regards,
Mr. Jamil Changlee
