But at de same time, dem organizing community meeting all over Berbice. It look as if dem trying to talk to people before de businessman arrive.
Now, dem boys know a man who seh he nah fraid snake. But soon as he see one lil garden snake, he climb on top a chair and start hollering. Same thing happening here. De Pee Pee Pee seh dem nah worried, but dem moving like if dem spirit leff dem body.
De businessman been pon de Essequibo Coast and dem boys seh de crowd wah meet he been impressive. Now de biggest fear de Pee Pee Pee got is dat he heading straight to Berbice. And Berbice is like dem Pee Pee Pee stronghold. Is like a man who always claim he wife faithful, but suddenly he start checking she phone and asking she nuff questions. If yuh nah worried, why yuh acting so nervous?
Dem boys seh de first sign of fear is when yuh start overcompensating. All of a sudden, de Pee Pee Pee planning nuff community meetings. And de biggest joke is dat dem trying to convince people dat everything nice and dandy, even when people can’t afford food and rent. One man seh he go to one of dem meetings just fuh see wah dem sharing out, cause right now he can’t even buy a proper lunch.
Dem boys seh de people getting fed up. De small man suffering. De big contracts going in one direction. De foreign people coming and setting up business, and de local man still selling from he lil roadside stand. People seeing all dis, and dem grumbling. But de Pee Pee Pee nah want admit it.
Dem boys seh dis story now start. If de businessman reach Berbice and de crowd come out big like Essequibo, de Pee Pee Pee might just faint. Cause dem like to pretend dem in control, but deep down, dem trembling in dem boots. Dem boys seh is one thing to seh yuh nah worried, but actions always tell de real story. And right now, de Pee Pee Pee acting like a man who seh he nah jealous, but he checking he wife WhatsApp every minute.
