Mike’s Pharmacy Inter-Secondary School Cricket Competition concludes today
Kaieteur Sports- The highly anticipated Mike’s Pharmacy Inter-Secondary Schools Bible Club Eight-a-Side Tape Ball Cricket Competition got underway yesterday at the National Cultural Centre Tarmac.
Now in its second year, the two-day tournament features 16 teams, all representing their respective Bible clubs, competing in an exciting four-over format. Organised by the Holy Family Bible Club, the event showcases some of the best tape ball teams vying for supremacy.
The competition will conclude today at the same venue, with matches starting from 9:00 AM.
The late Mr. Mike, a passionate supporter of youth cricket, was a firm believer in providing opportunities for young players to showcase their talent.
This year, teams will battle for trophies and medals, with prizes awarded to both the champions and runners-up.
