Kaieteur Sports – It was another weather-afflicted match as Guyana and Leewards had their bout spoiled yesterday at the National Cricket Center, Couva.
Vikash Wilkinson (34) and Rampersaud Ramnauth (31) along with Romario Ramdehol (23) took Guyana’s score to 171 all out in 40.5 overs, batting first.
Isra-el Morton led Leewards bowling with 3-44, supported by 2 wickets apiece from Jaheem Clarke and Micah McKenzie.
When play was stopped, Leewards were 35-1 with skipper Tanez Francis not out on 17, as Guyana all-rounder Emmanuel Lewis (1-4), got the breakthrough.
