Dennis Dias will be the first Guyanese in action at the BCQS International Squash Tournament against Trevor Dunkley.
Kaieteur Sports –Four Guyanese players will compete in the BCQS International Squash Tournament starting today in Christ Church, Barbados.
Regan Pollard (Over 45), Robin Low (Over 55), Joseph Mekdeci (Over 55), and Dennis Dias (Over 65) will be among over 100 participants from 16 countries.
Pollard and Mekdeci are ranked third and fourth, respectively. Both players are well-known for their high-level play and have represented Guyana in numerous Caribbean Championships.
Low and Dias, although experienced in international play, are expected to face stronger opponents early in the tournament.
The tournament runs through Sunday, May 26.
