Kaieteur News – A young biker was killed during the wee hours of Sunday after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into an electrical pole along the Public Road at Windsor Forest, West Coast Demerara (WCD).
Dead is Brandon Henry, 20, of Crane Housing Scheme, WCD. Henry met his demise reportedly around 04:00hrs on Sunday.
Enquiries, according police, revealed that Henry was heading west along the southern side of the road. He was reportedly speeding when he lost control and ended up riding into a Guyana Power and Light (GPL) pole at the side of the road.
A video seen by media house depicted a motionless Henry lying on the road and bleeding from a head injury.
Police reported that he was picked-up in an unconscious state by public-spirited persons and taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital. He was pronounced dead on arrival.
