Dear Editor,
A weekend of accidents, deaths and killings when good prevails over evil and light over darkness. Within hours, the tragic deaths of three women surfaced over the weekend.
Starting with the hotel death of the young mother, the charred remains in a burnt vehicle, to the succumbing of the shot fiancée. All these deaths have one thing in common: they are young women, in the prime of their life with dreams and aspirations, gone too soon. The true reasons for their brutal deaths may never be fully known.
The spate of accidents on the roadways, some fatal, continues unabated, none moreso than the past holiday weekend. When will this madness end? May it comfort the families to know that others share their pain.
Sincerely,
Shamshun Mohamed
