Where are our heroes?
Dear Editor,
Where are our heroes? To whom can our children look up and identify a good model?
Where are our heroes?
I search the playfields for them
Fixed matches
I leave disappointed.
Continue searching.
Where are our heroes?
I search the political arena
Still searching
Cannot find.
Where are our heroes?
Of the screen I search
These are just actors and actresses
A hero nowhere just pretension.
Where are our heroes?
I search the dust
And there I find my heroes
Unknown
Unregistered
Dying and becoming forgotten.
Here is my hero.
The persons worthy nobody knows.
A blade of grass insignificant.
Krishna Nand Prasad

Where are the Heroes?
Krishna Nand, if ever you decide to “run” with our Creator God He will give you everything “you ever need” to survive and live well and even hold your Hands and TEACH you and keep on repeating without any frustration what he needs you to understand and then one day – he will forcefully (or gently, interpretation need here) push you out of the NEST.
You either sink or swim or FLY or be Broken !
Is our Creator your Friend at this moment?
You are a Man made from the same Substance as GOD.
Who is your Hero?
Your Hero should be the One who Fed you and who TAUGHT you when you were in your “Formative” years.
The Umpire in a Cricket Match who raised up his hands when you smashed the Cricket-Ball over the Boundary line.
The Person who showed you the street address when you were seeking the Home of someone.
The Politician who gave you access or made it easier for you to become a contributing productive Citizen.
Anyone who helped you to remember that you give THANKS to our Creator !
