Kaieteur Sports – Rockaway Legends softball team has rendered assistance to a family from Crane, West Coast Demerara.
The family had tragically lost their outboard engine in a fire three months ago and Chief Executive Officer of Rockaway Group of Companies Mr. Hafeez Ali, who is also the owner of the Rockaway Legends recently donated a 200 Mercury outboard engine to the family.
Mr. Ramesh, head of the household expressed gratitude to Mr. Ali and said this donation will help him to get his business back on its feet.
He lauded Ali for the work that he has been doing over the years in the community especially in the sporting arena. Mr. Ramesh added that he was impressed and called on other businesses to follow suit.
Mr. Ali also plays for Everest Masters and has supported players and clubs across Guyana and in the USA over the years. Mr. Ali said he is happy to assist Mr. Ramesh.
