Kaieteur Sports – After two nights of nail-biting action, the Hamilton Green’s Annual Inter-Ward Knockout Football tournament is ready to unveil its final eight contenders tonight at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground.
Tonight’s schedule promises an evening of heart-pounding contests, featuring eight teams battling fiercely for their spot in the quarter-final stages.
The matchups include Kitty versus Stewartville, Festival City taking on Uitvlugt, Stabroek Ballers challenging Mocha, Sophia going head-to-head with Belle West Stars, Back Circle meeting Airy Hall, Road Warriors clashing with Belle West Stars, Bent Street facing Extanyol, and Gold is Money taking on Herstelling. Action starts at 5:00 pm.
The stakes are higher than ever before, with a grand prize of $500,000 and the coveted championship trophy awaiting the winner. Tournament runners-up won’t be left empty-handed, as they are set to walk away with $250,000, while third and fourth-place finishers can look forward to $150,000 and $100,000, respectively.
