Improvised weapons, weed, lighters found at New Amsterdam Prison.
Kaieteur News – A search operation conducted at the New Amsterdam on Saturday unearthed a number of improvised weapons, lighters and some 282 grams of weed.
Items seized during the prison search.
The operation was conducted between 05:40 and 08:00hrs.
Among the items found are nine cell phones, 11 lighters, one smoking utensil, nine improvised weapons, one scissors, a bucket of fermented wine and four bottles of wine.
