Surinamese nabbed with ecstasy, processed marijuana
Kaieteur News – A Surinamese national was on Saturday nabbed by Police at Eliza Mary, Corriverton Berbice, Region Six with ecstasy and hashish (processed cannabis mainly the flower buds).

The Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) identified the suspected drug trafficker as Virjanand Narain. Narain was caught with almost 70 grammes of ecstasy and 101.5 grammes of hashish.
He remains in custody at the CANU’S Headquarters in Berbice.
