1 new COVID-19 case recorded in Region 6
Kaieteur News – The Ministry of Health, on Saturday, recorded a new COVID-19 case. The new infection, which was recorded in Region Six, has taken the total number of confirmed cases, since March 2020, to 71,312.
On Friday, the Ministry reported that seven people were infected with the COVID-19 virus.
While there are no patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), there are now six persons in institutional isolation and 79 in home isolation. On Friday, the number of persons in home isolation stood at 100.
Thus far, 69,946 patients have recovered.
