A welcome development
Dear Editor,
The return of the Guyana Prize for Literature is indeed a welcome development. This will certainly provide an incentive for Guyanese to write which seemingly is on the decline.
There is nothing more refreshing than a piece of good writing be it prose, poetry or short stories. The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports must be commended for making the Prize an annual feature after a lapse of several years.
