Teams advanced following quarterfinal matches in the ExxonMobil U14 Boys and Girls football tournament following play over the weekend at the MoE ground on Carifesta Avenue.
Akeela Hazel in the 3rd minute scored to give East Ruimveldt a 1-0 victory over their West Ruimveldt counterparts.
New Central and Tucville played out a 0-0 stalemate on regulation time, however, New Central advanced via a Penalty shootout 3-2.
Charlestown moved forward ahead of Dolphin via the walk over route.
New Campbellsville beat Ann’s Grove 4-1 with Michesha Osbourne a hat-trick in the 3, 7 and 9 minutes and Jorcialy Sallina (43) netting the fourth. Ann’s Grove lone response came from Keshaiya Tixey (43).
In Boys competition, West Ruimveldt overcame New Central 1-0 with Ronaldo Ramdass in the 40 minute scoring the winner.
Ann’s Grove put 3 past East Ruimveldt who had no response. Isaiah Pellew 16, 26 and Akeyl Nedd 49 were on target for the winners.
Cummings Lodge scored 5 goals to defeat Dolphin who replied with 2. The Goal Scorers for Cummings Lodge were Tyrel Walcott 34, Rovin Henry 32, Duquan Thom 38 and 40 and Montell Marks 42. Dolphin replied with Jason Sandiford (33) and Malachai Gowen (36).
Charlestown brushed aside North Ruimveldt 5-1 thanks to Goal scorers Nicholas Nieuelder 8 and 30, Dequan Cox 39 and Colwin Kissoon 40 and 42 minutes. North Ruimveldt replied through Dalon Wray in the 11 minute.
