The Guyana Domino Association has scheduled an Independence Day Domino Competition today at the Mark & Shea Hangout Bar in D-Field Sophia with a double six time of 10:00 am.
The association is inviting teams to play to fill the roster and compete for the top prize of $100,000.
According to the organizer, the tournament was originally for Ministry teams but the majority of them expressed their dissatisfaction in the choice of venue, hence, their decision to not participate.
There are also prizes for the second and third placed teams. A registration fee of $12,000 is set for a team to be a part of the action.
All cash should be paid to the coordinator, James Lewis. For further details, Lewis can be contacted on telephone number, 625-9007.
