Another “La la land” idea?
Dear Editor,
Kaieteur News – Previously, the government was criticised by the same side, for giving handouts and making citizens dependent on such handouts, which has now tabled a motion for a sizeable handout to each person over 18 years every quarter.
Giving a handout of the amount being sought would not make citizens productive and fruitful and would develop the handout, dependent syndrome. Did the side making the call think this through carefully or was it another “La la land” big idea?
