The Devon Ramnauth Region #2 Development Youth Cricket League was given the green light by Regional Vice Chairman Mr. Humace Oudit who conveyed his best wishes and charged the youths to be good ambassadors of Region #2.
The competition was launched recently at the Imam Bacchus and Sons cricket ground and among those that attended were Coach Debra Daniels, Former Essequibo players Dinesh Joseph and Indlall Baychu, Essequibo Franchise Captain Anthony Adams, Trevis Simon, Aotto Christiani, Andy Ramnarine, Rohan Budhram and umpire Wazir Dhanraj along with the captains of the six Teams.
Adel Bacchus of The Imam Bacchus and Sons Cricket Ground encouraged the youths to make full use of his family’s facilities to improve their skills. Teams and Schedules will follow soon.
The competition is expected to unearth new talent in region two and is expected to last for five weeks.
