A Cataract Patient
DEAR EDITOR,
I have cataract in both eyes. My left eye is completely clouded. I cannot see with the left eye. I was due to do surgery at the public hospital, Georgetown, on 20th March 2020. Due to COVID-19 all patients were told surgeries are cancelled. We gave our phone numbers to hospital staff and to date no one has called. I am afraid of going blind. I kindly ask if someone from the Ministry of Health can update us on this matter.
