The goodwill over-40 three match series between Georgetown over-40 masters and Ratio Masters out of Paramaribo, Suriname, is now tied after Ratio Masters got the better of the GT men at home with a needling victory last weekend.

The match was contested at the mecca of football in city, Georgetown Football Club (GFC) and where Fineal Burgzorge found the back of the net in the 22nd minute, a strike which proved enough to sink the Guyanese.
Georgetown over-40 masters had toured Suriname for the first leg in December and the GT men had prevailed 2-0 with Gerald Wittington being responsible for both goals in the 10th and 23rd minutes of the match to lead his side to victory.
GT Masters will now have to travel to Suriname this April where the series will be decided.
The sponsors of the last weekend’s match were Bounty Farm, Da Silva’s optical, Oasis Café and Sam Sittlington.
