Rising Stars overcome Laluni by 11 runs
Despite being dismissed for a meager total, Rising Stars managed to secure an 11-run win over host Laluni when the teams collidedin the final of the T20 competition which was organised by the home team.

In a match which was reduced to 12 overs, Rising Stars elected to bat and were bowled out for 60 in 12 overs. George Carrington struck one four and two sixes in a top score of 27 while Darren France made 19 with two sixes. Troy Domingo captured 4-8 from three overs.
What looked like a walk in the park for Laluni, proved otherwise as Rising Stars bowlers maintained a steady line and length to bowl out the home side for 49.
Marvin Cheong led the bowling with 3-5 from three overs including a hat-trick, while Shane Persaud captured 3-13 off three overs and Shaquille Brisport 2-15. Rising Stars defeated La Grange in the lone semi final, while Laluni drew the bye to the final.
