DEAR EDITOR,
Mr. Frederick Kissoon’s present (ANUG – A Nasty, Ugly Goblin. KN: 06/05/2019) and previous articles in this round of communications are intellectually and morally poor, and since it is in his nature to try to retrieve the irretrievable, any response will of necessity lead to half-truths and prevarications.
As I stated in my previous letter ‘If you are operating in the public domain, there is a duty to state, respond and explain your history and policy, and I have never been timid about doing so and will continue to promptly do so when the discussant is honest, but as I have clearly demonstrated in the current discourse and over many years, Mr. Kissoon is dishonest and does not believe he has to properly lay out a case and at the very least attempt to prove it…!’
Mr. Kissoon, other than to point the reader to your persistent falsehoods, I have no moral obligation to hold a discussion with you. And no amount of attempting to tie the fate of A New And United Guyana (ANUG) to me will tempt me to become involved in a discourse with you after you have again demonstrated that after all these years, you have not changed, and if anything, have become more brazen with what you would like us to believe, when caught, is: academic incompetence!
However, it is election season and if, as you profess, your main interest is in getting information, to the public, I also have an interest in that and am willing to compromise. I can guarantee you the necessary responses if you find some known person to ask and take personal responsibility for responding to me.
I await your response. Otherwise, goodbye Mr. Frederick Kissoon.
Henry B Jeffrey
