DEAR EDITOR,
It is not often that praise for a job both professionally done, and with human caring, is given where it is due; particularly to a Magistrate and Police Officers.
Recently, I had occasion to be of assistance in a case concerning a mother and her son. Suffice to say that a threat of violence was meted out to the mother.
While I was not present in the Lethem Magistrate’s Court, the mother of whom I speak has relayed to me how very thoughtful and professional Magistrate Allan Wilson acted. Kudos are in order, I think.
Similarly, when I was asked to solicit the help of the Lethem Police, by the mother, I could not have asked for a more professional response and immediacy. Kudos again are in order.
Yours truly,
Eddie DaSilva
