Opener Saheed Mohamed struck a brilliant century to lead host Everest Cricket Club Masters to a 77-run victory over Bartica Masters when the teams collided in a T20 fixture recently.
Mohamed and Hardaiow handed the home team a splendid start with an opening stand of 183. Mohamed slammed 10 fours and six sixes in a robust 101, before he was removed by Shaggy Motilall, while Hardaiow hit nine fours and two sixes in scoring 80. Hemraj Garbaran was run out for 12 with two fours as Everest Masters posted 226-4, batting first. Motilall took two wickets for the visitors.
Bartica Masters were restricted for 149-4 in reply. Modan (only name provided) made 64 with seven fours and two sixes, while S. Mangal scored 39 and Ravi Seenarine got 17 as Robin Bharat took 2-14.
