Police Constables 24645 Donwin Jamal Stuart who placed first in the Junior Calypso Competition; 24716 Daniel Daly, first place Junior Soloist; and 22904 Osbert Cain who placed third in the Carib Soca Monarch have now been elevated to the rank of Lance Corporal.
Among those honoured was Roy Malcolm Hinds, a Liaison personnel of the GPF, who at age 80, with over 50 years of experience, plays a critical role in the Music Department.
Hinds, who is also a mechanic by profession, led and managed the “Eldorado Steel Orchestra” in the 1960s.
This recognition stands as an expression of the Force’s dedication to reward its members who excel in the many disciplines and foreshadows a new and improved paradigm which will be implemented as we accelerate the much anticipated reformation of the Force.
