Dear Editor,
On November 13th 2018, The Caribbean Court of Justice ruled on the following:
”The Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) on Tuesday ruled in favour of the cross-dressing Appeal.
The Court ruled that “a law in Guyana, which makes it a criminal offence for a man or a woman to appear in a public place while dressed in clothing of the opposite sex for an “improper purpose”, is unconstitutional. The law, Section 153(1)(xlvii) of the Summary Jurisdiction (Offences) Act, is to be struck from the laws of Guyana.”
”The landmark ruling means it is now acceptable for men to dress as women in Guyana.”
Here we have The Caribbean Court of Justice trying to delete and obliterate the laws of Guyana from our Constitution and very soon we won’t have any laws of Guyana left. I have many concerns here about this High Court ruling.
When we were born our births were registered by our parents as MALE OR FEMALE. At the passport office the form has to state if the applicant is either a Male or Female; we are registered at GECOM as a Male or Female. A Police clearance also states such a fact and the police wants to know if an applicant is a male or female. This law that now advocates for a man to dress like a woman and a woman to carry herself like a man is totally against our constitution and the laws of God. The laws in our country and any country in the world wants to know OUR GENDER.
If I were to wear a woman’s dress and go to the Police Headquarters for a Police Clearance I will be mocked by the public and will be asked to leave the police headquarters. The same will happen at GPOC for a Birth Certificate; the same at the immigration at Embassies of the world.
Even if a man is dressed as a woman, the immigration forms don’t have a place for a ”transgender” if he/she pretends to be one or a gay or lesbian. They either have to state on the Form if they are MALE or Female. It’s more than ridiculous for a man to try to be a woman dressed in ladies’ attire. It will be funny to show up at a wedding ceremony to see two men getting married or two women getting married. May I say. Editor, this Caribbean Court of Justice is even trying to change the laws of God. That is very dangerous. In this life we may escape from the laws of men but not from THE WRATH OF GOD. Let me quote a few scriptures to validate the authenticity of Holy Scripture.
Genesis 1:27
”God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”
God exhibits all the characteristics of person-hood: God has a mind, a will, an intellect, and emotions. God communicates and He has relationships, and God’s personal actions are evidenced throughout Scripture to men and women. Both man and woman are created in the image of God, in that they are greater than all the other creations as they, like God, have a mind, will, intellect, emotions, and moral capacity. It was God’s idea to create MAN then WOMAN because God is a God of order and two transgenders, gays or lesbians will never be able to give birth to a child.
Marriage – Between One Man and One Woman
Genesis 2:24 “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”
Another point Jesus makes in Matthew 19 is that “he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’” (Matt 19:4-5). That is, marriage is to be between one man and one woman, and He was specific that it was created to be between one male and one female.
Let’s come back to this cross -dressing law if this is what we are going to live by since the Caribbean Court of Justice is trying to obliterate our Constitution. Here a criminal dresses like a woman, commits a robbery or a murder but dresses back like a man and cannot be identified as a male but as a woman who commits a robbery. These things happen all the time: a man dresses like a woman and even has a female name. He can even rob a bank, a store, a person and no one knows his identity.
Is this the Godless law we want to live by?
A woman also dresses like a man to commit robberies and cannot be identified. If this law is passed here into motion it means you can dress your son in a female uniform and send him to school. You can dress your daughter as a male in a male uniform and sent her to school and the teachers cannot say anything because ”This is the law we are living by.” This is more than ridiculous to the laws of the land and the laws of Almighty God. We really don’t want to get God angry or his wrath will fall on this Nation.
“The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment; for all who do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.” Deuteronomy 22:5
This is the law of God to his Prophet Moses. Can the Caribbean Court of Justice come against God’s Laws and our Constitution?
Who these people really think they are? Are they bigger than God or trying to be a semi-God?
I am calling on all our churches, religious organizations, members of parliament to denounce this rule by the CCJ. Only God can give us true JUSTICE.
