BhaskarYadram (centre) with members of the Enterprise Legends team after being presented with the band.
All-rounder Bhaskar Yadram was recently honoured by the Enterprise Legends Cricket Team on the East Coast of Demerara for leading Guyana to their fifth straight Cricket West Indies U19 50-over title in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Members of the Enterprise Legends Cricket Team played a specially arranged softball match in honour of Yadram, before presenting him with a cricket band in recognition of his achievements this year.
NK Omar of Enterprise Legends said the members thought it best to honourYadram, since apart from captaining Guyana, he also created history earlier this year by scoring 301 not out against the Select Under-17 squad at the Everest Cricket Club in the Guyana Cricket Board Inter County U19 three-day tournament. It was the first triple hundred ever scored at this level.
Omar said that the Legends are indeed proud of the strides made by the young cricketer and they are confident he will continue to excel. Yadram expressed gratitude to the members of the Enterprise Legends team adding that he will continue to do his best.
