More thoughts on College and University preparation for athletes

In sharing more thoughts on young athletes’ preparation for College and University scholarship programme, Guyanese US-based athletics coach and sports organiser Andy Medas-King offered a bit more information on the subject.
“In educating the public about the importance of being ready for College and University, parents and Athletes need to know what subjects they must do in high School in order for them to enter top Colleges and Universities. For instance Mathematics have 1, 2, & 3 likewise English is the same, there is also a misunderstanding with history, where some Colleges and Universities ask for American History and you must do a Foreign language. These simple steps can disqualify any athlete or student who would like to enter the system.”
“Now as I move onto the most important part is preparing to write the SAT. The SAT’s score determines what College and University you get into and now with Technology it can be accessed from your phone and computers. Today there is an app name Khan’s Academy or you can just Google it and open an account, this should be every student’s best friend. The thing about Khan’s Academy is that it teaches everyone from pre-k to University level and it’s so amazing that most of the world’s leading experts and students have expressed thanks to this app,” Medas-King opined.
“For me I discovered this app about 8 years ago and I have to say thank God for Mr. Khan because he changed the world. I’m order to pass the SAT or to become better in almost every subject you need to use Khan’s Academy, because there is no other place that teaches you every topic there is in every subject. My advice to every parent in Guyana please make Khan’s Academy part of your life and I can assure the entire country that we will get much better results at every Examination be it CXC, CAPE, SSEE or the Nurses Exams say good bye to failing grades.
