The ExxonMobil under-14 boys’ and girls’ football tournament is set for eight exciting matches today at the Ministry of Education (MOE) ground on CARIFESTA Avenue with four clashes in each division. The first four matches, which will see the first getting underway at 11:00hrs, will be in the girls’ division with Tucville battling Uitvlugt in the day’s opening encounter. That game will be played simultaneously with the Vergenoegen versus Dolphin plate match.
At noon, Group A winners; South Ruimveldt will match skills with La Penitence in the first girls’ semifinal before the second finalist is decided after New Campbellville oppose group B winners Charlestown Secondary in the second semifinal.
The finalist for the boys’ division will then be decided in the afternoon when St. John’s College play North Ruimveldt Multilateral at 14:00hrs before favourites Chase Academy clash with Buxton Youth Development at 15:00hrs.
