Odyssey Transport Services partner with Lusignan Golf Club

Odyssey Transport Services (Facebook Odyssey Jet Boats); located at 171A Light Street, Bourda, provider of jet boat service since 2012 to the interior regions of Guyana, has become the latest entity to lend support to the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC).
For the first time ever, Odyssey Transport Services will partner with the LGC to host a tournament on Sunday at the LGC golf course from 09:00hrs. A full field of players is expected to support CEO Feroze Barakat, a long-time member of the LGC and avid golfer, who has been a part of the renewed growth of the Club having pledged his support for the plans that the new executive team put forth in January.
During the handover ceremony at the company’s headquarters yesterday morning, Troy Khan, Manager of the jet boat service provider, stated that the company wanted to show its commitment to the LGC and assist with the promotion of the game to the younger generation of golfers.
With the school holidays fast approaching, the company and LGC will host a variety of events to encourage new players to join the exciting sport.
Fans and supporters are encouraged to come out as Odyssey Transport Services will be giving away several trips to the interior on their jet boats along with the Hole-in-One grand prize of four (4) tickets to one of their destinations to any golfer who makes the shot.
The LGC has a packed calendar of events with more than 4 activities per month scheduled for the rest of the year. Recently, George Bulkan, son of Minister Ronald Bulkan, who is another long-time member of the club, took to the greens with his entire wedding party to celebrate his nuptials.
The club is available for weddings, corporate training/retreats, summer camps for kids and many other activities. Members of the public are encouraged to come out and enjoy the ambiance and tranquillity of the ground along with great food and drinks that are available every day of the week.
