An accident between minibus BWW 7313 and motorcar PWW 5875 at the junctions of Camp and Church Streets shows that recklessness is still prevalent.
Witnesses to the accident that occurred in the wee hours of Sunday morning, around 01:00hrs, claim that the bus driver was heading east on Church
Street.
It is alleged that as the driver approached Camp Street, where the traffic light was blinking red at the time, a car, PWW 5875 slammed into the bus.
The car was reportedly proceeding through an amber blinking light at the time.
The collision caused the bus to topple, and caused minor injuries to the occupants.
The car was badly damaged by the driver escaped with minor injuries.
Traffic ranks from the Albertown Police Station have since commenced an investigation into this incident.
