Please allow me the space and time to address a most glaring example of stupidity and ignorance on the part of the Security Guard and Police Officer, both of whom could have caused that snake bite victim her life. The reason the guard gave for “Not wanting to wake the nurse” should result in that idiot being FIRED. Apparently the standing order at that nursing facility is, if you’re going to be sick or near death you had better do so in the day. It begs the question, is this common practice at this location? If so, it should be addressed by the Minister of Health or some high level official from that ministry. The asinine police officer is another question. Rather than escort the victims vehicle to the hospital post haste this full of herself
Who are these people and where are they from?
Guyana is indeed a” Failed State” with this kind of thinking and mentality. Neither of those individuals displayed enough empathy or God forbid common sense to think. I pray this is not a reflection of the wider society if it is, Our Guyana is in deep trouble. I wish the
snake bite victim a full recovery and good health.
Respectfully
Claudeston Massiah.
