Remanded, Collin Wallace
Collin Wallace appeared before Magistrate Leron Daly at the Georgetown Magistrates` Court facing the charge of illegal possession of cannabis. It was alleged that on April 18, last, approximately 1.734 kilograms of cannabis was found in his Lot 34 D’Urban Street, Lodge residence.
The drug was intended for the purpose of trafficking.
According to prosecutor, Richard Harris, the 57-year-old narcotic rank caught with the substance in the bedroom of the accused. It was found in a bag that contained the cannabis in four clear plastics.
When questioned, he denied that the cannabis was intended for the purpose of trafficking. “I am just keeping this weed for a friend who’s at Linden Town Week,” he stated.
The Police Prosecutor opposed bail so Wallace was remanded to prison. He will make his next appearance on May 18, 2018.
