A number of matches were played in the 24 teams competition with a brutal 169 from Lakeram Latchman of No73 and a miserly bowling spell of 7-18 from Ganesh Singh for No73 against NO70 Young Blood highlighting the results.
NO73 devoured No70 Young Blood by 315 runs. NO73 batted first and hammered 355-4 in their 40 over with Latchman’s savage 169 containing (16×4, 8×6). He received admirable support from Odraj Singh 75(5×4, 4×6) and Dhamesh Seenarine 53(7×4).
Young Blood were sucked dry and they were skittled out for 40 in 8.2 overs with Singh 7-18 in 4.2 overs ripping the heart out of their opponents.
In a close encounter NO43 Scorpions stung Crabwood Creek Sports Club by 5 runs.
NO43 Scorpions made 137all out in 30 overs with S. Soohkoo30 and A. Dhairam 31. Bowling for CWC Sports Club Q. Khan with 4 and E. Chalitar with 3 were the main wicket takers.

Ganesh Singh

CWC Sports Club were bowled out for 132 in 25 overs with S. Seegobin 34 and D. Sookram 31.
Bowling for the Scorpions R. Pattaya picked up 4, while B. Deen and M. Harvey supported with 3 wickets each.
In another game, NO59 Sports Club defeated No48 Challengers by 8 wickets. Scores – NO48 Challengers 80 in 21 overs with S. Ramdat 18. Bowling for NO59 Sports Club Victor Ramdat took 4, J. PBudho 3 and Papilo 2 being the wicket takers.
In reply NO59 SC sped to 81-2 with R. Romell 37 and Tagenarine Ramsaroop 19.
